Martin Brook

Martin Brook is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as Head of Finance for the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Leeds since April 2024, Martin has previously held key positions including Commercial Finance Manager at Capita Customer Management, where Martin led commercial evaluations and identified financial risks and opportunities. As Director of Finance at WELCOM Digital Limited and Computershare, Martin was instrumental in strategic planning and achieving EBITDA targets, while also restructuring finance teams to enhance performance. Earlier roles at HML Mortgage Outsource Co and Aviva involved significant contributions to business planning and operational efficiency, demonstrating a strong track record in financial management since starting the career at Santander UK Corporate & Commercial in 1990. Martin holds a degree from The University of Huddersfield.
