Sam Glenister-Batey

Sam Glenister-Batey currently serves as the Deputy Director of Commercial and Business Development and Head of Conferences and Events at the University of Leeds, a position held since July 2022. Previously, Sam was the Head of Events and Corporate Partnerships at the Royal College of Music and the Head of Events & Venue Hire. Additional experience includes leading commercial activities and marketing at Chiswick House & Gardens Trust and serving as Commercial Events Manager at Historic Royal Palaces, where responsibilities included overseeing the Tower of London Events department. Prior roles also encompass Event Sales Manager and Events Sales Executive positions at the Science Museum, focusing on generating income and enhancing the museum's profile. Sam holds a PGCERT in Events Management as well as a BA(Hons) in the same field from Leeds Beckett University.
