Elizabeth began their career as a Reporter at the Western Daily Press, where they generated news stories and features. Elizabeth then worked at the Bristol Post as a Senior Reporter, responsible for writing news stories, producing supplements, and submitting columns. Elizabeth also served as the Acting Entertainment Editor at the Bristol Post, where they secured exclusive interviews and managed a team of reviewers. Elizabeth then transitioned into a communications role at Nottinghamshire Police, first as a Media and Communications Officer/Team Leader, and later as the Head of News and Channel Management. In these roles, they implemented communication strategies, managed media inquiries, and developed the team's capabilities. Elizabeth then moved into the higher education sector, joining the University of Nottingham as the Head of Media Relations, leading the team to secure positive media coverage and organizing media training for staff.
