Marie Adams

Marie Adams has extensive work experience in research grants and partnerships. Marie currently serves as the Head of Research and Partnership Development at the University of Leicester, where they oversee the management of international research grants and contracts. Prior to this role, they were the Senior International Research Grants Manager, responsible for leading a team in supporting research applications and awards from overseas funders. In addition, Marie has served in various positions at the UK Research Office (UKRO), including as an Elected Subscriber Representative and Board Member. Marie has also worked as an EU Project Administrator at the University of Leicester. Overall, Marie's work experience demonstrates their expertise in managing research funding, partnerships, and administrative processes.

Marie Adams attended Keele University from 1999 to 2002, where they earned a BSc (Hons) 2.1 degree in Biomedical Science.
