Sarah Glenn

Deputy Director Of Operations (research) College Of Life Sciences at University of Leicester

Sarah Glenn has extensive work experience in research operations and facility management at the University of Leicester. Sarah started working at the university in 2002 as a Technician & Deputy Departmental Safety Officer and held various roles such as Postdoctoral Research Associate and Experimental Officer. In 2019, they became the Facility Manager & Building and Safety Manager, and later transitioned to the role of Deputy Director of Operations (Research) in the College of Life Sciences.

Sarah Glenn has a strong educational background in microbiology and business administration. Sarah obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Microbiology from the University of Leeds in 2002. Later, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Microbiology, General at the University of Leicester from 2004 to 2013. In 2018, they furthered their studies at the University of Leicester and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, specializing in Business Administration and Management.
