Olly Butters

Olly Butters is a research scientist at the University of Liverpool since June 2020, previously serving as a Senior Research Associate at Newcastle University from April 2017 to June 2020. Between October 2013 and April 2017, Olly held the position of ALSPAC Senior Data Manager at the University of Bristol, contributing to the Avon Longitudinal Study of Parents and Children. Prior experience includes a Research Associate role at the University of Leicester from November 2008 to September 2013, with responsibilities in astronomy archiving, geospatial work, and bioinformatics infrastructure. Olly Butters earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Astrophysics from The Open University (2005-2009) and a Master in Science in Physics from Imperial College London (2001-2005).
