Mohamed Elsaadani

Mohamed ElSaadani, Ph.D., is a Research Engineer and Assistant Research Professor in the Civil Engineering department at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette since October 2017. Prior to this, Mohamed served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Iowa from January 2012 to August 2017, focusing on hydrologic modeling and remote sensing applications in hydrology and hydrometeorology. Earlier experience includes roles as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and the Hydraulics Research Institute, where Mohamed worked on physical models and hydraulic jumps. Mohamed's professional journey began as an Environmental Engineer at Misr Consult from September 2008 to June 2009. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Water Resources from the University of Iowa, a Master's degree in Civil Engineering (Water Resources) from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Cairo University.
