Randy Andres

Randy Andres is an experienced professional in the field of petroleum engineering, currently serving as an IADC Well Control Instructor and Lab Manager at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette since September 2016. Prior to this role, Randy held the position of Project Manager at Core Laboratories from May 2010 to April 2016 and worked as a Lab Manager and Instructor at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette from August 2005 to May 2010. Additional experience includes consulting services in drilling and well planning from 2003 to 2005, and roles as Drilling Coordinator at Schlumberger (Anadrill) and Helmer Directional Drilling from 1997 to 2003. Randy began the career as a Directional Driller at NL Sperry Sun, followed by a role as Driller at Delta Drilling. Randy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A & M University, earned between 1981 and 1986.
