Lorenzo Bernardini is a Postdoctoral Researcher in Criminal Law at the University of Luxembourg since April 2022, currently engaged in two EU Action Grants focused on criminal law standardization and digital defense rights, under the guidance of Prof. Silvia Allegrezza. Lorenzo has been a Teaching Assistant at the Università degli Studi di Urbino Carlo Bo since January 2018, specializing in Criminal Procedure, and holds a PhD in Global Studies with a focus on immigration detention in Europe, graduating with honors. Previous experience includes a Visiting PhD Student role at the University of Luxembourg, a trainee solicitor position at a law firm, and a trainee role at the Public Prosecutor's Office in Italy. Lorenzo earned a Master’s degree in Law from Università degli Studi di Urbino Carlo Bo and a high school diploma from Liceo Scientifico «G. Marconi».
