Ed Hopper

Ed Hopper's work experience includes various roles at different companies. Ed began their career in the U.S. Navy as an Interior Communications Electrician from 1979 to 1985. Following that, they worked at the University of Maine, starting as a Microcomputer Specialist from 1990 to 1993. Ed then became a Senior Microcomputer Specialist/Network Administrator from 1993 to 1995. From 1995 to 1999, they served as the Facilities & Technological Services Manager, responsible for planning maintenance and renovations of residence halls. Subsequently, they held the position of Information and Communications Systems Manager from 1999 to 2006, overseeing the department's information systems. Finally, they became the Associate Director of Business Support Services in 2006, providing supervision and administrative coordination for business intelligence and technology integration support units.

Ed Hopper earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from the University of Maine in 1989. Ed later obtained a Master of Science degree in Information Systems Science from the same university between the years 2004 and 2006. Additionally, they hold certifications including MCITS - Microsoft Certified IT Professional - DBA and MCP - Microsoft Certified Professional - MCTS - Microsoft Certified Technical Specialist - MS SQL.
