Melissa Kimble

Melissa Kimble serves as the Senior Research Data Security Analyst at the University of Maine, specializing in the development and implementation of research-specific data security protocols. With a strong background in environmental science and data security, Melissa has held various significant positions, including participation in National Science Foundation grants—Maine-eDNA and SEANET—focused on ecological research and collaboration across institutions. Previous experience includes roles as a SESYNC Graduate Research Fellow, a Hardware Telemetry Engineer at Pure Storage, and a Spatial and GIS Analyst at the University of the Virgin Islands.
