Ibrahim Hasan Murad

Ibrahim Hasan Murad is the President of the University of Management and Technology (UMT), where Ibrahim has served since March 2014, overseeing one of Pakistan's top-ranked private research institutions. In addition, Ibrahim holds multiple prominent positions, including Director of Academic Quality and Assessment at the Markfield Institute of Higher Education, Board Member at the Institute of Policy Studies, Chairman of Mizab Group Pvt. Ltd., Editor in Chief of The Academia Magazine, and Chief Executive at 868 Holdings Pvt Ltd. Their contributions extend to educational initiatives as an Executive Board Member for The Knowledge School and ILM College. Furthermore, Ibrahim briefly served as Minister of Mines & Minerals, Transport, and Livestock & Dairy Development for the Government of Punjab in early 2023 and chaired the Pakistan Olympic Association Education Commission from 2020 to 2022. Ibrahim's academic background includes a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Management from the University of Warwick and Bachelor's degrees in International Business and Management from Coventry University and Western University, respectively.
