Kirk Marzec Sphr

Kirk Marzec, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, has a strong background in human resources with over 27 years of experience. Kirk currently serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer at the University of Maryland Faculty Physicians Incorporated since January 2019. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Human Resources at the University of Maryland Faculty Physicians, Inc. from October 2001 to December 2018. Before joining the University of Maryland, Kirk worked as a Manager in Admitting & Registration at Upper Chesapeake Health from June 2000 to October 2001. Kirk began their career at Sinai Hospital in November 1992 as a Supervisor in Admissions and held that role until June 2000.

Kirk Marzec, SPHR, SHRM-SCP has a strong educational background in the fields of Human Resource Development and Nursing. Kirk completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Maryland Baltimore in 1998. Following this, they pursued further education and obtained a Master of Arts degree in Human Resource Development from Towson University. This academic achievement was accomplished between 2003 and 2005.
