Bryan Quinn serves as the Director of Technical Operations at the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at the University of Maryland, where responsibilities include the design and advancement of electrical engineering educational labs, support for research labs, and department safety compliance. Additionally, Bryan holds the position of Director at the Maryland Educational & Sustainable Activities (MESA) Lab, focusing on alternative energy education and research projects in microgrids and hybrid power generation. As a mentor for Engineers Without Borders/Maryland Sustainability Engineering, Bryan advises students on sustainable engineering projects in developing communities. Previously, Bryan was the Associate Director at the Institute for Research in Electronics & Applied Physics, supporting engineering design and technical construction, and worked as an Electrical Systems Engineer at the University of Maryland Electron Ring. Bryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Arts in Radio and Television Broadcasting Technology from Kent State University.
