Lourdes Salamanca-Riba

Lourdes Salamanca-Riba is a distinguished Professor at the University of Maryland, a position held since February 1987, following a role as a Senior Research Scientist at GM Research Laboratories from September 1985 to January 1987. Lourdes holds a PhD in Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where studies were completed from 1979 to 1985, and a BS in Physics from Universidad Autonoma Metropolitana, obtained between 1974 and 1978.
