Paromita Basak

Graduate Research Assistant at University of Maryland

Paromita Basak is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in GIS and remote sensing, currently serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Maryland since July 2022. Active participation as a Voting Member with the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team complements a role as Executive Project Assistant for ISEPEI, where collaboration focuses on bridging decision-makers and ICTs in environmental sustainability. Additional relevant experience includes managing projects at the Bangladesh Open Innovation Lab and serving as an International Alumni Mentor for the U.S. Department of State.
