Sourang SriHari is currently a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Maryland, focusing on enhancing safety in self-driving vehicles through the integration of driving simulators with advanced technologies and a VR simulation study utilizing machine learning for predictive driving models. Previously, Sourang held an internship at Void Robotics, implementing a collision monitoring system for autonomous robots, and worked as an Engineer Intern at Accurate Steel Forgings India Limited, where designs were optimized using SOLIDWORKS. Initial experience included an Internship Trainee role at Festo, gaining certification in hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Sourang holds a Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from VIT Vellore Institute of Technology.
