Yujie Li

Yujie Li serves as an Assistant Professor of East Asian History at the University of Maryland since August 2023. Prior experience includes a role as Chinese Community Outreach Coordinator at Flushing Town Hall from September 2014 to August 2023, and as a Correspondent for The Art Newspaper, contributing articles related to American museums. Additional professional experience encompasses roles as Program Coordinator & Chief Press Officer at China Connect, Researcher in the Curatorial department at the American Museum of Natural History, and Marketing in Asian Art at Christie's. Earlier career positions include Editor in Chief at Artbank magazine, Editor Director at Target magazine, and Fashion Editor at Harper's Bazaar China. Yujie Li holds a PhD and a Master's Degree in History from the University of Chicago and a Master of Arts in Arts Administration from Columbia University.
