Fareeda Khodabocus

Fareeda Khodabocus has extensive experience in the field of quality assurance and engineering education. Currently serving as the Director of Quality Assurance at the University of Mauritius since January 2011, Fareeda previously held positions as a Senior Lecturer and Head of the Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering. Additional experience includes a role as Lead Assessor for the Mauritius Export Association, focusing on the Malcolm Balridge National Quality Award from 1992 to 2006. Fareeda has also completed research fellowships at the University of Birmingham and Coventry University, specializing in Total Quality Management and best practices. Academic qualifications include a Master of Engineering in Quality Systems from the University of Birmingham and a Doctor of Philosophy in TQM from the University of Mauritius.
