Alanna Tran

Alanna Tran is a seasoned professional in the field of Quality Assurance, currently serving as the Director of Quality Assurance at Pliant Therapeutics since September 2024. Prior to this role, Alanna held the same position at RAPT Therapeutics from September 2022 to September 2024. Alanna's extensive experience includes over 16 years at Nektar Therapeutics, where positions ranged from Quality Assurance Manager to Associate Director for Clinical and GMP Quality Assurance. Additional experience includes roles at Chiron Corporation/Novartis, Genentech, Yamanouchi Pharma America, Incyte Genomics, and Bayer. Alanna holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Microbiology from San Francisco State University, along with an Associate of Science from City College of San Francisco and a diploma from Blue Coat Comprehensive School.
