Alanna Tran

Alanna Tran is a seasoned professional in the field of quality assurance with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Director of Quality Assurance at Pliant Therapeutics since September 2024, Tran previously held the same title at RAPT Therapeutics from September 2022 to September 2024. Prior to these roles, a lengthy tenure at Nektar Therapeutics included positions such as Associate Director for both Clinical and GMP Quality Assurance, Quality Assurance Manager, and Senior Quality Assurance Specialist. Additional experience includes roles at Chiron Corporation/Novartis, Genentech, Yamanouchi Pharma America, Incyte Genomics, and Bayer, encompassing various quality assurance and scientific responsibilities. Alanna Tran holds a Bachelor of Science degree from San Francisco State University, along with an Associate of Science degree from City College of San Francisco and A and O levels diplomas from Blue Coat Comprehensive School.
