S Z Sayed Hassen

S Z Sayed Hassen currently serves as a Visiting Professor of Computation and Control at ETH Zürich since February 2024 and has been an Associate Professor and Senior Lecturer in Electrical Engineering at the University of Mauritius since September 2012. Previous roles include Research Associate positions at the University of New South Wales, focusing on the control of quantum optics experiments and quantum experiments from March 2007 to August 2012, as well as Lecturer at the University of Mauritius. Sayed Hassen's industry experience includes positions as an Electronic Hardware Design Engineer at Australian Arrow Pty Ltd and as a Dimensional Engineer at Edag Future Pty Ltd. Sayed Hassen holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from UNSW, a Master of Engineering Science from Monash University, and a Bachelor of Engineering (1st Class Honours) in Electrical Engineering and Computing from Monash University. Sayed Hassen completed the Higher School Certificate in Science at Royal College Port-Louis.
