Alex Harris

Alex Harris is a highly experienced researcher with a strong background in chemistry and a focus on electromaterials science and biomedical applications. Currently a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne since July 2020, Alex has held similar positions at the ARC Centre of Excellence for Electromaterials Science and the University of Wollongong. Noteworthy contributions include leading projects at HEARing CRC and participating in the ON Prime program at CSIRO, aimed at empowering researchers. Alex's early career was marked by significant roles at CSIRO, La Trobe University, and Oxford Biosensors, focusing on cochlear implant development and electrochemical research.
