Jennifer Henry

Jennifer Henry is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in advancement and publishing within the scientific community. Currently serving as the Senior Gifts in Wills Manager and previously as the Bequests Manager and Director of Advancement for the Faculty of Science at the University of Melbourne since 2014, Jennifer excels in securing major philanthropic gifts and leading a dedicated team. Prior roles include Director of Life Sciences at the New York Academy of Sciences, where oversight of scientific content and external alliances for numerous symposia was paramount, and Publishing Manager at Nature Publishing Group, managing high-quality academic journals. Earlier, Jennifer held journal management and editorial roles at CSIRO Publishing and worked as a researcher and chemical information officer in agricultural settings. Jennifer holds a Ph.D. in Plant Molecular Biology and an Honours Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Science from the University of Melbourne.
