Samantha Beattie

Samantha Beattie is a seasoned healthcare professional with extensive experience in diabetes care, nursing, and health governance. Currently serving as a Casual Academic at the University of Melbourne and actively involved with the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine, Samantha holds multiple committee roles, including as a member of the ACEM Foundation Committee and Co-Chair of the Reconciliation Action Plan Steering Group. With a background that includes founding MyDiabetes and holding a managerial position at the John Morris Diabetes Centre, Samantha combines clinical practice with leadership in healthcare initiatives. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Nurse Practitioner from Flinders University and a Bachelor's degree with honours in Politics from La Trobe University, complemented by various certifications in healthcare governance and education.
