Daniele Castrizio

Professore Associato at University of Messina

Daniele Castrizio has extensive experience in academia, serving as an Associate Professor at the University of Messina since February 1999, where Daniele also holds the title of Professor. Prior to this, Daniele worked as an archaeologist at Consorzio ARS from April 1989 to September 1990, leading the production of texts for the first "totem" on cultural heritage in Calabria and conducting field verification for archaeological reports made by private individuals on behalf of the Superintendence of Archaeology of Calabria. Daniele's educational background includes a Postdoctoral degree in History from the University of Messina (1995-1996), a PhD in History from the University of Messina (1992-1994), a specialization in Classical and Medieval Archaeology from the University of Lecce (1987-1990), and a degree in Classical Letters from the University of Messina (1982-1987).
