Matthew Mahoney

Matthew Mahoney is a current Communications & Public Relations Intern at University of Michigan Athletics, specializing in women's soccer, men's lacrosse, and men's gymnastics, while also having served as the lead intern for baseball and cross country. Responsibilities include developing written content, collaborating on social media strategies, and producing promotional materials using Adobe Creative Cloud. As Vice President of Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity, Matthew enhances communication among a large membership and organizes events. Previously, as a Data Analysis and Strategy Intern for the University of Michigan Center on Finance, Law & Policy, Matthew led a team to provide marketing and operational insights for minority-owned businesses in Detroit. Additional experience includes working on the grounds crew at Watermark Country Club. Matthew is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Public Policy at the University of Michigan's Gerald R. Ford School, having also completed a degree in the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts.
