Christian Thomas is an emerging finance professional currently engaged as an Incoming 2025 Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Cowen Inc. and an Intern at Pointe Capital Management, with ongoing analytical contributions to the Maize and Blue Fund as an Analyst. University of Michigan Solar Car Team

The University of Michigan Solar Car Team is an entirely student-run organization, comprised of University students from a variety of majors and backgrounds. Founded in 1989, this team has built, tested, and raced 16 highly competitive solar-powered electric vehicles. The team races both nationally and internationally, regularly competing in two biannual solar races. The team has shared a podium finish with the most competitive teams in the world, finishing top-3 six times in the World Solar Challenge in Australia! Additionally, the team has won 9 national championships, including 5 of the 6 previous races. Because of this legacy, the team is recognized as the most successful team in North America.
