Abbie Natkin

Abbie Natkin is currently an Economics PhD student at the University of Minnesota, beginning in September 2025. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago from July 2023 to October 2025, and as an Economics Skills Preceptor at Macalester College from August 2022 to July 2023, where responsibilities included providing learning demonstrations and office hours for economics students. Additionally, Abbie worked as an Intermediate Microeconomics Preceptor at Macalester College in 2021, focusing on homework solutions and student support. Abbie also has experience as a Summer Research Assistant, collaborating on research involving R programming, and held roles in customer service positions at Dunkin' and Hersheypark. Abbie graduated from Macalester College in 2023 and participated in the IES Abroad program during early 2022.
