Yagmur Yuksel

Yagmur Yuksel is an Economics PhD student at Northwestern University, expected to complete the degree in July 2031. Prior to this, Yagmur served as a Machine Learning Engineer at Teamworks, focusing on deploying predictive machine learning models for professional soccer clubs, and transitioned to this role following Zelus Analytics' acquisition, where experience included implementing predictive models for NBA clients. Earlier positions included Data Scientist at Zelus Analytics, Fellow at the Tobin Center for Economic Policy at Yale University, and Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Yale Department of Economics. Yagmur holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Physics with Distinction from Yale University, awarded in 2020.
