Elisia Cohen is a distinguished academic with extensive experience in journalism and mass communication. Currently serving as Professor and Director at the Hubbard School of Journalism & Mass Communication at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities since June 2017, Elisia previously held various positions, including Department Chair and Blyton Endowed Chair at the University of Kentucky from August 2007 to June 2017. Elisia's academic career began at Saint Louis University as an Assistant Professor of Communication from 2003 to 2007. Elisia holds a Ph.D. in Communication from the University of Southern California, a Master's degree in Communication from Wake Forest University, and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Louisville.
