Pat Vasquez-Cunningham

Pat Vasquez-Cunningham is a seasoned multimedia journalist and content specialist currently working at the University of Minnesota in the Carlson School of Management since February 2024. As the creative director and owner of NorthLight media, LLC since August 2022, Pat has a robust background in digital media, having held multiple roles at Central New Mexico Community College, including digital producer, associate director of creative services, and multimedia specialist from April 2017 to July 2022. Previous experience includes contributions to Polaris Images and roles at Rio Grande and the Albuquerque Journal, where Pat served as a multimedia journalist and lead photographer. Additional freelance work with The Associated Press, the Dallas Morning News, and USA TODAY complements an extensive career in journalism that began in the 1990s. Pat holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Central Connecticut State University and an A.S. in Electronic Engineering Technology from the University of Hartford.
