Roger Wm. Karlson

Graduate Student Instructor at University of Minnesota

Roger Wm. Karlson is an experienced educator and leader in the arts community, currently serving as a Graduate Student Instructor at the University of Minnesota since September 2014, and as the Chair of the Board of Directors for Igneous Metal Arts, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving metal casting as an art form. Roger has extensive teaching experience, having worked as an Adjunct Faculty at St. Catherine University and as an Instructor and Academic Advisor at Brown College. Additionally, Roger has contributed to the Chicago Avenue Fire Arts Center as a Welding Instructor and Board Member. Roger's academic credentials include a Master’s Degree in Design, specializing in Interior Design from the University of Minnesota, and a BFA in Interior Design from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. Prior professional roles include Project Interior Designer at RSP Architects and Head of the Design Department at Commercial Furniture Services.
