James Richards

James Richards is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in engineering operations, planning, design, and construction. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Engineering Operations at University of Missouri Health Care since September 2021, James previously held various leadership roles at Mosaic Life Care, including Director of Facilities and Grounds, where strategic planning and operational excellence were paramount. In a long tenure at Ford Motor Company from 1987 to 2012, James progressed through multiple managerial positions, overseeing manufacturing engineering, quality assurance, and production operations, managing large teams and focusing on safety, cost efficiency, and environmental improvements. Earlier experience at Bristol Tennessee Electric System as a Power and Control Design Engineer laid the foundation for a successful career. James holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tennessee Technological University.
