Darnell Archey

Darnell Archey is an experienced basketball coach currently serving as the Head Basketball Coach at the University of Mobile since July 2019. Additionally, Archey holds the position of Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach at the University of the Incarnate Word since April 2018. Previously, Archey worked as an Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach at the University of South Alabama from April 2013 to April 2018 and as the Coordinator of Basketball Operations at Butler University from July 2009 to April 2013. Early coaching roles include Head Boy’s Basketball Coach and Assistant Athletic Director at Park Tudor School and Head Boy’s Basketball Coach at Columbus North High School. Archey’s coaching career began as an Assistant Basketball Coach at Carmel High School. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Education in Physical Education Teaching and Coaching from IWU National & Global and a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Butler University.
