Ian Frank

Ian Frank is a seasoned videographer and film director with a rich background in documentary filmmaking and social media management. Since October 2021, Ian has been working at the University of Montana as a Videographer/Editor, producing engaging content for a widely viewed online presence. Ian's experience extends to managing Ian Frank Films LLC, focusing on deep, thought-provoking documentaries on topics such as indigenous health, the migrant crisis, and local communities. Previous roles include serving as a Social Media Manager at Discovery Ski Area, where Ian also engaged in diverse operational duties, and as a Kitchen Steward at The Ranch at Rock Creek, where culinary storytelling was harnessed through video. Ian's journey in film began during a transformative year as a Global Citizen Year Fellow, living with an Indigenous family in the Ecuadorian Amazon, and is underpinned by a Bachelor's degree in Social Entrepreneurship and Storytelling from Watson Institute.
