Melissa Matassa-Stone

Melissa Matassa-Stone currently serves as the Associate Director of Planning, Design, and Construction at the University of Montana, a position held since March 2025. Prior to this role, Melissa spent nearly 20 years at WGM GROUP, Inc., where significant leadership positions included Chief Executive Officer and various roles as Principal Engineer. Melissa's professional journey began as an Environmental Engineer at TVA and included a role as an AmeriCorps Restoration Ecology Assistant at IslandWood. Academically, Melissa holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and multiple Master's degrees in Project Engineering and Management from Montana Technological University.
