The Legal and Compliance Team at the University of Montana ensures that the university operates within the boundaries of law and regulatory frameworks. This team provides legal counsel, manages conflict resolution and policy development, conducts internal audits to identify and mitigate risks, and oversees compliance with institutional governance as steered by the Secretary & Treasurer.
