James Freeman

James Freeman has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. James began their career as a Recreation Supervisor at the City of Omaha in 1967, where they worked until 1988. James then joined Omaha Public Schools as the Director of Recruitment from 1998 to 2003. In 2003, Freeman joined the University of Nebraska at Omaha, initially as the Director of Multicultural Affairs and later promoted to the Senior Director of Inclusion and Director of Multicultural Affairs. In their role at UNO, they oversaw the operations of various departments and worked towards advocating for underrepresented students and improving retention and graduation rates.

- From 1970 to 1971, they obtained an Administrative Endorsement degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from University Nrbraskka at Omaha.

- Between 1966 and 1968, they earned a Master's degree in Educational Administration from Univerisity Nebraska at Omaha.

- From 1961 to 1966, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree from Tuskegee University.

- In the years 1957 to 1961, they received a Diploma from Southside High School.
