Matthew Tracy

Matthew Tracy has over 20 years of work experience, starting in 1996 with the United States Air Force. During their time in the Air Force, they held various roles including Air Force Officer and Director of Geoscience. Matthew has experience in leadership, higher education, program management, and geopolitical analysis. Since 2016, they have been working as Senior Director of General Education, Academic Assessment, and Dual Enrollment at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

Matthew Tracy has a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography from the United States Air Force Academy. Matthew later obtained a Master of Arts in Geography with an emphasis on Geographic Information Systems, Remote Sensing, and Qualitative/Quantitative Methods from Kansas State University. Matthew Tracy then went on to earn a PhD in Geography with a focus on Human Geography, Geopolitics, and Qualitative/Quantitative Methods from Arizona State University. Matthew also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification obtained from the Project Management Institute in September 2015.
