Ann Briggs

Ann Briggs is a seasoned communications and program specialist with extensive experience in public involvement and environmental science. Currently serving as Communications and Program Specialist II at the Nebraska Water Center, Ann oversees communications efforts and edits a quarterly newsletter. Prior experience includes founding Welcome Words Co., where Ann optimized written content to enhance customer engagement. Additionally, Ann has worked as a Public Involvement Specialist and Environmental Scientist at Alfred Benesch & Company, effectively managing public campaigns and drafting technical reports. Ann's academic background includes a Master's degree in Human Dimensions of Natural Resource Science and a Bachelor's degree in Wildlife Biology, both from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
