Nicole Wagoner

Nicole Wagoner is a doctoral candidate in Geology at the University of Nevada, Reno, currently serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Great Basin Center for Geothermal Energy, focusing on minimizing exploration risks for geothermal systems through innovative mapping and data tools. Previous experience includes an internship at Blade Energy Partners, conducting geothermal exploration research, and leadership in the American Association of Petroleum Geologists' Women's Network, where Wagoner received the 2020 GRIT Award. Prior roles as a Geologist I at Premier Oilfield Group and various internships in prominent oil and gas companies, including ConocoPhillips, highlight strong project management skills, data analysis expertise, and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
