Rohit Patil

Rohit Patil currently serves as the Director of Software Development and Research Analytics at the University of Nevada, Reno, a position held since February 2004, where responsibilities include data management, research analytics, and division analytics. Prior roles at the university include Project Manager for GIS Research and Remote Sensing/GIS Analyst, focusing on GIS software development, geodatabases, and mobile applications. Rohit began a career in software engineering at Harbinger Systems Pvt Ltd, developing web applications for multinational clients. Rohit holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Nevada, Reno, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Pune Institute of Computer Technology, along with early education at St. Xavier's College.
