Samuel Lee

Samuel Lee serves as a Professor and Chair of Medicine at the University of Nevada, Reno since December 2023. Previously, Samuel held the position of Professor in the Department of Medicine at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth from September 2018 to December 2023, while also serving as Chief of Medicine at the White River Junction VA Medical Center from September 2018 to September 2023. Prior to these roles, Samuel was Section Chief of Infectious Diseases at the VA Albuquerque Medical Center for a decade and had a long tenure at The University of New Mexico School of Medicine as a tenured Physician-scientist focusing on molecular fungal pathogenesis. Samuel's academic journey began with an MD from Boston University School of Medicine, followed by residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, culminating with a Ph.D. in Investigative Medicine from Yale University.
