Randy Kearns

Randy Kearns, DHA, MSA, FACHE, FRSPH, CEM, serves as an Associate Professor and Director of the BS Program in Healthcare Management at the University of New Orleans since July 2018, focusing on healthcare and disaster management. Prior experience includes roles as Department Chair and Associate Professor at the University of Mount Olive, and various positions at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, including Administrator EMSPIC and Program Director NCBSDP. Randy Kearns has also worked with US DHS/FEMA as an Operations Reservist, served as Executive Director/CEO at MedCare, and held several roles in emergency management and medical services in regions across the southeastern United States. Educational credentials include a Doctorate in Health Administration from the Medical University of South Carolina and various degrees and certificates in healthcare administration, emergency medical services, and nonprofit management.
