Alison Avery

Alison Avery is an accomplished professional with a strong background in external engagement and communication roles within prestigious academic institutions. Currently serving as the Acting Vice-President of External Engagement at UNSW, Alison has previously held titles such as Director of External Engagement and Alumni Experience and Head of External Engagement (Faculties and Precincts) at UNSW. Alison's experience also includes acting as Director of Marketing, Admissions and Student Recruitment at UNSW Business School and serving as PR and Communications Manager at the University of Sydney Business School. Prior to these roles, Alison worked as a Public Relations Consultant at Read McCarthy and held the position of Senior Account Manager at SBPR. In terms of education, Alison obtained a Master of Arts in International Communication from Macquarie University and a Bachelor of Communication in Public Relations from the University of Canberra.
