Casual Academic (tutor)

Arpit Kapoor is a PhD Scholar at ARC Training Centre in Data Analytics for Resources & Environments (DARE) since August 2022 and serves as a Casual Academic Tutor at UNSW, teaching courses in Machine Learning and Data Mining. From February 2023, Arpit works as a Climate Research Support Scientist at the Bureau of Meteorology, focusing on implementing a multivariate bias correction method for the Australian Climate Service. Previously, Arpit held roles such as SDE2 in Data Science at Quince, Data Scientist at 3Qi Labs, and Machine Learning Developer at BoMoTix Pvt. Ltd., where the work involved predictive modeling and machine learning applications in data quality and sports video analytics. Arpit began a Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics and Statistics at UNSW in August 2022 following a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from SRM IST Chennai, completed in 2019.
