Christine Burns

Chrissy Burns is an accomplished Chief Information Officer at UNSW since August 2022, with extensive experience in senior leadership roles, including Director at AARNet Pty Ltd (2015 - Present) and prior positions as Chief Information Officer and Acting Deputy Vice Chancellor at the University of Technology Sydney (June 2012 - June 2022). Notable experience includes leading IT and Knowledge Management teams at Ashurst and serving as Director of Knowledge at Blake Dawson. Burns holds a PhD in legal technology and a Graduate Certificate in Change Management from AGSM @ UNSW Business School, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and an LLB (First Class Honours) from the University of Sydney. Additionally, Burns is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and has a Graduate Management Certificate from the University of New England.
