Dane McCamey serves as Pro Vice-Chancellor Research and Professor of Physics at UNSW, holding additional roles such as Deputy Dean Research and Enterprise, Associate Dean Enterprise and Engagement, and Associate Dean (International and Engagement). Prior to this, Dane was the Deputy Director at The ARC Centre of Excellence in Exciton Science and worked as a Senior Lecturer and ARC Future Fellow at UNSW. Dane's academic experience includes positions at the University of Utah as an Adjunct Assistant Professor and Postdoctoral Research Associate, as well as an ARC Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Sydney. Dane earned a PhD in Physics from UNSW in 2007.
