Johannes M. Luetz, PhD, serves as an Adjunct Professor and Adjunct Fellow in Geography and Development Studies at the University of the Sunshine Coast, and holds the position of Adjunct Associate Professor at UNSW's School of Social Sciences. Luetz has extensive teaching experience, having instructed over 900 students in courses related to international development and environmental sustainability. Current roles include Associate Professor and Director of Research Development at Alphacrucis University College, along with editorial positions in various prestigious journals, including the International Journal of Climate Change Strategies and Management and Humanities & Social Sciences Communications. Luetz's research background is complemented by a significant tenure as a Climate Leader with The Climate Reality Project, and a history of field research with World Vision. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Environmental Policy and Management from UNSW and an MBA in Asian Management from The Berlin School of Economics and Law.
