Professor Megan Davis currently holds the position of Harvard University Whitlam Fraser Chair in Australian Studies and Visiting Professor at Harvard Law since July 2024. With extensive experience at UNSW since October 2001, positions include UNSW Scientia Professor, Pro Vice Chancellor, Balnaves Chair in Constitutional Law, and Director of the Indigenous Law Centre. Roles outside of academia include serving as Commissioner for the Australian Rugby League Commission and holding membership positions with Chief Executive Women, the Academy of the Social Sciences in Australia, and the W.K. Kellogg Foundation's Solidarity Council on Racial Equity. Professor Davis is also a board director for the Cowboys Community Foundation and has previously served on the board of the Western Australian Rugby League and the National Centre for Indigenous Genomics. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Law from The Australian National University and an Honorary doctorate in Law from The University of Queensland, along with other degrees from The Australian National University and The University of Queensland.
